Jobs Australia is the national peak body for nonprofit organisations that assist unemployed people to get and keep jobs. The network helps members to make the most effective use of their resources to promote the need for services and support that will help unemployed people to participate fully in society. Jobs Australia is the largest network of employment and related service providers in Australia and is funded and owned by its members.

The Fair Work Commission

The Fair Work Commission is the national workplace relations tribunal. It is an independent body with power to carry out a range of functions relating to: 

  • the safety net of minimum wages and employment conditions
  • enterprise bargaining
  • industrial action
  • dispute resolution
  • termination of employment
  • other workplace matters.

The Fair Work Ombudsman

The Fair Work Ombudsman is an independent statutory office created by the Fair Work Act 2009. This website includes information and advice on workplace rights and obligations.

Australian Services Union (ASU)

The ASU is one of the largest trade unions in Australia representing approx 120,000 members across the country including community service workers.

Australian Education Union (AEU)

AEU Victoria is the Victorian branch of the Australian Education Union  the federal union for teachers, principals, education support staff and all educators working in government schools and government-funded early childhood, TAFE and adult education.
